Every plan runs the same Alkera agent. Plans differ in how much usage they include and what your organization can do.

What uses credit

Your plan comes with a monthly allowance of credit. These draw on it:
  • Model usage. Each message to the agent uses credit based on the model, the effort, and the work involved. It is billed to the person who sends the message.
  • Machines. Org machines bill by the hour while running. Standard compute is included.
The allowance resets each billing cycle.

Manage your plan

Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Manage plan.
  • Your plan shows your current plan. Click Change plan to switch.
  • This cycle’s usage shows how much of your allowance you have used and when it resets.
  • Add credits buys a top-up of $25, $50, $100, or $250, or a custom amount from $5. Payment goes through Stripe.
  • Billing opens the Stripe portal for your payment method and invoices, and has Cancel subscription.
Upgrades take effect immediately, with a prorated charge. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the billing cycle, and you can undo them until then.

Organization billing

Org admins can buy prepaid credit for the whole organization in Settings under Billing. Buy it for:
  • The Org pool, shared by everyone.
  • A Team pool, for one team.
  • A Member seat, for one person.
Prepaid credit never expires.

Allocations

Admins can set limits for each team and member in Teams. Each team’s Allocations list shows its members’ Budget in USD per cycle, their Storage, and what they have Spent this cycle.

Usage

Open Usage in the sidebar to see where credit goes. Choose a metric (Requests, Budget, Storage, or Machines), a scope (Organization, Team, or Personal), and a time window. Admins see spend and storage broken down by member.

When credit runs out

When an allowance or budget is used up, new requests stop and the chat says why, such as “Your cycle allowance is used up.” It shows when the allowance resets.
  • Admins see Manage plan to add credits or upgrade.
  • Members are asked to contact an org admin.
  • Org machines stop. Files are kept.
If a payment is refunded or disputed, the credit it bought is taken back. If that leaves a balance owed, usage is paused until it is paid. The next top-up pays it first.
